Guest lectureship (six lectures) on Nepali Grammar at the North Bengal University, Siliguri, India in 2002  Worked at the Central Institute of Indian Languages (CIIL), Mysore, India as a Nepali language expert for one month in 2003. Language Competence 79 (Descending order) Nepali, English, Hindi, Sanskrit, Japanese, Prakrit, Pali, Chinese, Kusunda, Marathi and Sinhalese Language Discovery  Discovered Kharia, an Austroasiatic language, at Laphati in Jhapa on a fieldwork.  Discovered two Kiranti languages Rakhong and Lulam near Chisapani in Khotang.  Discovered Tsankha (or Tomyang), another Kiranti language spoken in Sankhuwasabha. Fieldwork and Data Collection On different fieldworks and interviews I have collected data from more than forty languages of Nepal like:  Kusunda, a language isolate, spoken by 2 or 3 speakers.  Satar (Santal) and Kharia, two Austroasiatic languages spoken in Jhapa and Morang.  Jhangar, a Dravidian language spoken in Sunsari, Morang, Jhapa and Saptari  Tibeto-Burman languages: Meche (Bodo), Dhimal, Thami, Bhujel, Mewahang, Hayu, Sunuwar, Umbule, Chamling, Gurung, Magar, Tamang, Pahari, Newar, Sherpa, Jirel, Limbu, Chhathare Limbu, Dolakha Newar, Thakali, Yakkha, Kulung, Sampang and Khaling  Indo-Aryan languages: Darai, Majhi, Rajbamsi, Churaute  Engaged in the documentation of Kusunda, a language isolate spoken in Nepal with less than 5 speakers Writing Systems Helped to develop writing systems for Pahari, Limbu, Chhathare Limbu, Sunwar, Tamang, Dhut Magar, Magar Pang or Kham, Sampang Rai, Khaling Rai, Chamling Rai, Mewahang Rai, Bahing Rai, Yamphu Rai, Byasi, Danuwar, Kaike Magar and Rajbamshi Research Supervision  Ph.D. Thesis 1.
